About
The department seeks to instill in its students a variety of skills and levels of knowledge that will serve them regardless of the profession they ultimately choose. After completion of lower-division coursework, students with a minor in Political Science may complete upper-division requirements from any of the four areas of interest: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory. The department also provides minors with opportunities for internships, for credit, in the legal profession, political campaigns, legislative offices, public administration, and the media.
