Adam Turl (Art) will be presenting at the London Historical Materialism conference on a panel he organized titled "Salvaging Utopia in Contemporary Art." Other presenters on the panel with include David Mabb, Program Leader of the MFA Fine Art (Studio Practice) at Goldsmiths University, London, and Anupam Roy, an artist featured in the 2018 New Museum Triennial, "Songs for Sabotage," in New York. Additionally, Turl is contributing to the creation and development of a new journal, Locust Review, to be printed four times a year. His work is featured in the first issue, which focuses on culture, labor, and criticism. The issue will include art, fiction, poetry, drama, interview, creative non-fiction, political perspective, and lots of fuel for the imagination.
