Alison Sloat (Sciences) was awarded $33,000 from Mission Support and Test Services and $1,500 from Rotary of Southwest Las Vegas to fund Rebel Science Camp in 2020. This sponsorship allows 1,100 fifth graders from Title I Clark County School District elementary schools to attend Rebel Science Camp at ºÚÁÏÍø in 2020. The funding covers transportation costs, supplies for hands-on science activities, lunch, and scholarships for the camp’s undergraduate student leaders.
