The Department of Political Science hosted the conference "A Season of Elections, New (or Renewed) Leadership, and Policy Impacts" on campus on April 26, 2024. The conference is sponsored by Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. Scholars and students from Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, ºÚÁÏÍø, and other parts of the U.S. attended and presented their analysis of recent elections in Taiwan, South Korea, and India. The implications of these elections on the future of U.S.-China relationships and Indo-Pacific strategy were also discussed.
