Lighthouse's founder, Cindy Trussel, uses an entrepreneurial resourcefulness approach, working with the skills and interests of refugees and volunteers to determine what entrepreneurial opportunities can be created to the benefit of refugees. While Lighthouse helps some start their own business, it is often more helpful to integrate refugees into work integration social enterprises (started by Lighthouse).
