Jennifer Keene (Liberal Arts) delivered the keynote address earlier this week at the American Association of Behavioral and Social Scientists conference. Her talk, "Rewards and Challenges of Community-Based Research," was based on her experience directing the , which is a community-based partnership between ºÚÁÏÍø researchers and Nevada’s nonprofit organizations, designed to study volunteerism and to encourage a community conversation regarding civic engagement.
