John M. Bowers (English) had his book Tolkien's Lost Chaucer published by Oxford University Press. It is his seventh single-author book. He is now working on the follow-up volume Tolkien on Chaucer, 1913-1959 and has been awarded a four-week visiting scholar position at Merton College, Oxford, during summer 2020 to pursue research on Tolkien's papers in the Bodleian Library.
