Shawna Pennock (Music) gave a lecture recital (: Duet for alto saxophone and violin pedagogically created to help young saxophonists learn to play the altissimo register) at two music conferences this month: at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and at the Mississippi University for Woman in Columbus. She was joined by her collaborator, Serena Scibelli, violin.
