On May 10, ºÚÁÏÍø PRACTICE Institute of Mental & Behavioral Health launched its Institute’s Continuing Education (CE) program with the inaugural session of Science in Practice: A Treatment Skills Series, underscoring our commitment to being a leading mental health resource and disseminator of best practices.
The institute welcomed Dr. Kelly G. Wilson, professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Mississippi; founder of OneLife Education & Training, LLC; and a founding figure in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Wilson brought decades of insight and inspiration to this special kickoff event, drawing from more than 35 years of scholarship and global teaching.
An audience of approximately 100 participants — ranging from graduate students to licensed professionals — joined to learn, reflect, and grow in community. Wilson’s workshop integrated theory, clinical skill, and deeply human connection — embodying the spirit of our new CE series.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Kelly G. Wilson for helping us set a high standard for future offerings.
