ºÚÁÏÍø will welcome the newest members to the Class of 2022 during its Spring Commencement on May 13 and 14 at the Thomas & Mack Center. In addition to two undergraduate ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 14, the growing university has introduced a new ceremony for master’s and doctoral recipients at 4 p.m. on May 13.

More than 3,000 students will officially become ºÚÁÏÍø alumni this weekend as they cross the Thomas & Mack Center stage during the university’s spring commencement.
The Class of 2022 hails from 40 states and 56 foreign countries, many are the first in their family to graduate from college, 86% are Nevada residents, and well over half – 62% – are from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
This year’s class ranges in age from 19 to 77, with the average age of 27. Since 1964, ºÚÁÏÍø has awarded more than 160,000 degrees.
ºÚÁÏÍø President Keith E. Whitfield will award honorary doctorate degrees to renowned actress and ºÚÁÏÍø Fine Arts Hall of Famer Ann-Margret, and Sig Rogich, a longtime communications executive and community business leader. President Whitfield will also highlight six graduating students for their outstanding academic and community achievements.
