Biography

Trey Curtis-Brown is the administrative program coordinator for the B.S. in Applied Health Sciences in the School of Integrated Health Sciences at ºÚÁÏÍø. He is a two-time alumnus of ºÚÁÏÍø, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Pre-Med) and a Master of Science in Emergency and Crisis Management. He is currently pursuing both a Doctorate in Public Policy (DPP) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Trey brings a well-rounded academic and professional background to his role, with experience spanning academic advising, teaching, student engagement, and university operations. Prior to his current position, he served as an academic advisor in the Division of Health Sciences, where he supported students across multiple programs. He has taught anatomy and physiology lab courses, first-year seminar courses, and has worked as a graduate assistant in the dean’s office. He has also participated in more than 25 university committees focused on curriculum development, student support services, and institutional improvement. His research interests include communication strategy, public policy, and higher education systems.

As a program coordinator, Trey is dedicated to developing student-centered structures that foster equity, accessibility, and academic achievement. He believes in fostering clear communication between students, staff, and faculty, and building collaborative processes that strengthen program identity and operational efficiency. His coordination philosophy is grounded in responsiveness, inclusive practices, and a data-informed approach to student and program development.

Trey has been recognized as an outstanding graduate and has received multiple honors for his service and contributions to the university.
