ºÚÁÏÍø Global actively fosters cultural exchange and helps international students build connections through a diverse range of weekly events, including social gatherings, cultural celebrations, and skill-building workshops. We also organize group outings to campus traditions and regional attractions, further enriching your experience and sense of belonging within the Rebel community.
ºÚÁÏÍø Global Weekly Events
Each semester, ºÚÁÏÍø Global offers weekly events and activities to help you get involved, meet new people, and feel at home at ºÚÁÏÍø. Typical events include:
- Sport Tuesday: Stay active and have fun with your international community! We rotate between racquetball or badminton, join workout classes, do cardio together, or play table tennis.
- Mid-Week Dinners: Join fellow international students, domestic students, and faculty every Wednesday evening at the Dining Commons to share a meal and good conversation.
- Global Thursday: Celebrate culture and connection! Explore different languages, share your own traditions, try international snacks, and meet students from around the world.
- Friday Success Series Workshops: Learn skills to thrive at ºÚÁÏÍø. These workshops cover academic, social, and career-related topics tailored to international student success.
Students who regularly attend ºÚÁÏÍø Global Weekly Events may earn the chance to receive a free ºÚÁÏÍø Global Trip ticket.
ºÚÁÏÍø Global Trips
Each semester, ºÚÁÏÍø Global hosts day trips to help international students explore the incredible natural beauty of the region. Past adventures have included Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Mt. Charleston, and even the Grand Canyon!
Campus Traditions
Attend campus traditions like Premier ºÚÁÏÍø and Homecoming as a group with other international students. It's a great way to get connected and feel part of the Rebel community.
International Education Week
Celebrate international education and exchange with us every November! ºÚÁÏÍø participates in the nationwide celebration of International Education Week, a time to recognize the value of global learning and highlight the contributions of our international students and scholars.
