Professor William Joseph Sipe (Honors) recently presented an article at the National Communication Association's annual conference in Washington, D.C. The paper, titled "Fantasies of Whiteness Lost: Eco-Fascism in the Modern Viking Community," was a chapter of his 2023 dissertation.
Michael Chin (Honors) recently published a short story, 鈥淭he Lost Girl,鈥 in Bluestem Magazine from Eastern Illinois University.
William Sipe (Honors College) recently published an article in the peer-reviewed journal Critical Studies in Media Communication. The article examines interracial dynamics within the Netflix series, Bridgerton, and argues that those dynamics reflect contemporary economic structures of authority and desire.
Honors College student Jerwin Tiu was accepted to attend the 23rd annual Public Policy and Leadership Conference (PPLC) at Harvard University鈥檚 John F. Kennedy School of Government this October in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This year, PPLC received applications from 220 different colleges and universities, and invited 70 students in all to attend鈥
